After a year break from this project I have started to play around again. Have some plans to try out realtime GI and finally fix the seams. I implemented a third person controller for a spaceship. Flying around in this realtime generated world is fun! Still need to fix gimbal issues when ascending or descending at very steep angles. I have pretty much given up on getting something to look good when uploaded on UA-cam. Even the HD versions looks like 360p :( Music: Daft Punk - Recognizer (had to change music)

Back to a flat non spherical world for now. Ordinary octrees are not optimal for a spherical shaped world and both texturing and controls need to be aligned to a sphere surface. Improved memory management let me use larger grids. 8 levels of detail 16x16x6 chunks / level 8x8x8 blocks / chunk It becomes pretty apparent how badly I need to implement stitching when using a light background. Music: Vangelis - Into Eternity

Degradation every time they re-encode the videos. Had not realized it down to 144p now! I believe it started out as 720p
it's this kind of thing that made those old series and movies so great, they had many ASMR scenes or at least many of those old movies/series have ASMR scenes. this one gave me such a high, I decided to listen to it when I'm in bed, because it'll knock me out.
If I were 17 and some older women was rubbing my head during a writing assignment... I would find that weird. Especialy when she would nearly lick my ear 😳

I’ve never seen an episode of DS9, but I can’t believe that this episode in particular seems to be so popularly hated when this scene is so different and compelling.
There are two plots in this episode; it's the other one that gets the hate. Which is certainly a shame- Meg Foster's stellar performance deserves a more appreciative audience.

I guess it depends on what kind of hardware you have. But you can press show more in the video info. There it says how longtime it took and on what cpu.

In all seriousness this advice of just writing whatever comes to mind actually helps me get my own writing done. Even when I'm editing I'm still in that stream of consciousness state that keeps me in the story. It's honestly shocking how well it's been helping me.

Agreed. Every week in my AP English Class I have to write a 250 Word response to a Prompt. I struggle the first time but then I just started to separately write whatever thoughts came to mind and then connect/polish them up later.
Depends on the person. I'm not a writer and I'm the opposite personality to Jake Sisko (ESTJ instead of INFP) and I have to have a good idea to write down (which I do occasionally) otherwise there's no use. Editing I find much easier than writing from scratch, and writing parodies is easier than songwriting. That's for writing fiction, but writing down whatever comes to mind can still be helpful for journaling and making to-do lists.
